    Attorney Nima Vakili is an experienced trial attorney who aggressively advocates for his clients. Nima's desire to become a lawyer was triggered at a very young age. He wanted to help people who needed a voice and to protect their rights.

    After graduating from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, Nima went to work for the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office as a volunteer attorney for approximately two years. From there, Nima went on to work for the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office as a dedicated deputy district attorney for approximately 5 years. During that time, Nima prosecuted and handled a wide variety of cases, including misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile cases.

    As a criminal defense attorney, Nima has handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases, including homicide cases, gang cases, sex cases, domestic violence cases, drug cases and DUI cases. In fact, Nima has achieved not-guilty verdicts and dismissals in cases involving domestic violence, felony assaults, attempted murder with gang allegations, and murder. Nima takes his clients' cases personally. He cares about his clients and relates to them. He works one-on-one with his clients so that he can understand their story, allowing him to better advocate for them.

    Jamil Nushwat

    After graduating from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2005, Jamil first went to work for a large and prestigious real estate law firm in the Bay Area. From there, in January 2007, Jamil was hired as a criminal prosecutor for the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office. Over the next 12 plus years, Jamil rose the ranks of the office and was made a supervising district attorney in August 2016. As a prosecutor, Jamil tried numerous major-crimes felony trials, including homicide, attempt homicide, 1st Degree home-invasion burglaries, robberies, felony assault on police-officers and gang enhancements. Jamil was also named the county law-enforcement gang task-force coordinator.

    In June 2019, Jamil started his private criminal defense practice. Since then, he’s handled approximately hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases. In private practice, Jamil has applied his expertise in major litigation to help countless families successfully get through very difficult times. For example, Jamil has achieved not-guilty verdicts and dismissals in cases involving murders charges, rape allegations and felony assaults.

    Matthew Andrews

    Born and raised in Visalia, California, Matthew Andrews is an experienced trial attorney who has spent his life living and working in the Central Valley. While studying at the University of San Francisco School of Law, Matthew was trained in the Jesuit tradition to help others and promote justice. As part of that vision, Matthew worked as a teacher for Visalia Unified School District where he advocated for students with disabilities and their families to ensure that they received the services they were entitled to.

    In 2018, Matthew entered the legal field and used the oral advocacy skills he learned as a teacher to litigate on behalf of people injured by corporate negligence and obtain conservatorships for families trying to protect the best interests of their children.

    After establishing his reputation as an attorney in Tulare County, Matthew was hired as a prosecutor for the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office in 2019. As a deputy district attorney for Tulare County, Matthew prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases including DUI, drug sales, domestic violence, and attempted murder, and was quickly promoted to a position on the Gang Taskforce.

    In 2021, Matthew accepted a position at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office where he was a member of the Major Crimes Taskforce and prosecuted sex crimes, human trafficking, homicides, and death penalty cases.

    Today Matthew uses the experience and training he gained as a prosecutor to navigate the perils of the criminal system and seek justice for his clients.
